Again, many beautiful items this month:
Ed Grondin brought in a segmented bowl and a Kangaroo boomerang, both made from throw away wood, certainly not throw away projects.
The first time we have seen a homemade puzzle from wood and it belongs to Sally Wright.
Karl Friebig showed us his beautiful jewelry box.
A very unique and beautiful bonsai tree was created from wood by Walter Bedell.
Michael Eyles brought in his wall hanging sconce, along with some advice on the problems he ran into while trying to make the project faster and more efficient.
Another of Carol Zandell’s creative wooden boxes was on display.
Ask The Experts: Come with your questions and problems. There very likely will be someone who can help. This month a guild member needed advice on what to do with an antique bedpost that was splitting. Several suggestions were given. Another person needed advice on material for a cedar chest while another asked how to tell when a finish coat was ready to receive articles that might leave water marks on the surface. All left the meeting with constructive suggestions to solve their problems.
Monthly Raffle: Rick Sicklebower won the name tag drawing for a $25.00 gift certificate to Woodcraft. Wear those nametags!
Bill Garner – joinery jig and 2 (10”) handscrew clamps.

Curtis Evers – Snake arm lamp
Don’t Dave and Joyce do a great job with the monthly raffle? Tell them so next time you see them.
How about giving Bill Cogswell a personal Thank You for the great job he does with our video and sound system.
