Hello, I would like to share the following call for art with the Evergreen Woodworker’s Guild: Recycled Art Show Calls for Functional Design Submissions The RE Store’s 9th Annual Recycled Art Show is accepting submissions of functional designs until March 8, 2010. Submitted work may be reasonably considered “recycled functional design items” if it is entirely, or primarily, composed of at least 75% material(s) that would have otherwise been disposed into the waste streams. This includes pieces that serve a practical function in a household, business or outdoor setting (For example, furniture, cabinetry, light fixtures, planters, bike racks, etc). This includes items that fall into the realm of industrial design. The jury will focus attention on craftsmanship, materials use and creativity. For details and submission guidelines, visit www.re-store.org/recycledart.
