10TH ANNIVERSARY and VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION RAFFLE

10^TH ANNIVERSARY and VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION RAFFLE will be December 14. Cake and/or other desserts will be available for the evening. There will not be holding the regular monthly raffle as we are having the volunteer raffle as well as reflections on the past 10 years from various members.

We encourage people to bring non-perishable items to the December meeting. Any food brought will be given to our host, the Edgewood Bible Church, to be included in their collection of food for the needy.

Holiday Bazaar at Ft Lewis

The time has arrived see you there tomorrow, Ed Grondin will be onsite making items at the event come see his amazing work ♥ HOLIDAY BAZAAR: The Officers’ Spouses’ Club’s 29th Annual Holiday Bazaar is Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Nov. 8 from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $2 (children 15 and younger are free) in the FMWR Expo Tent, outside American Lake Community Center on North Fort Lewis. Vendors galore will be set up, ready to sell and take orders. Open to the Public.

Camp Patriot, Nov 7 and 8th

Ed Grondin and Camp Patriot will have a booth at the North Fort Lewis Holiday Bazaar on Nov 7th and 8th if you are going to be in the Tacoma area come by to see us this is open to the public what better way to honor our military by owning one of our Wooden Travel Mugs ed donated to Camp Patriot for 100 percent profit.

This is a 2 day show and the biggest one for us to date. Last weekend we made over 150 for camp patriot in one day we were very pleased with the turnout for us

EWWG Picnic Pics 2009

Every year, the Guild sponsors a picnic in August. This year, the picnic was held in the Swiss Park in Bonney Lake, WA. It has been previously held at Flaming Gorge Park in Auburn. The Guild supplies the venue, main courses, drinks and condiments. Members and their families are all encouraged to attend, join in the games and socializing, and bring a dessert or salad. There is also a raffle and everyone gets a free ticket, and everyone gets a prize.

As you can see, a great time was had by all who were there, even if it does look like it is a bit on the chilly side for August! Many thanks to Joyce Lamberson for sending the pictures in to the web site.
