Text Box: The EWWG philosophy is to bring people together to share their woodworking experiences and encourage education. The guild is a non-profit organization funded primarily through membership dues. Our goal is to promote fellowship, learning, and excellence in woodworking.

Text Box:     So, for 2007 what is underway? We are planning for the annual Raffle and Silent Auction for this April and hope that it is bigger and better than ever. We will continue to participate in many functions to get the word out about who we are; at the Woodworking Shows, the NW Carvers shows and various events around the area. We give back to the community with donations to charity; sometimes representing the guild as individuals and sometimes as approved by the guild members.
Text Box: for 2007!
Our committee members are always listening and looking for ways to improve.  Our new, larger meeting hall is giving us a lot of elbow room. We changed the monthly raffle in an effort to improve the quality of items that are awarded. We have regularly provided a slide show that presented timely and relevant information for and about the woodworking community, our guild and our members.
Text Box:     Improving your experience with the Guild never stops and it is a lot of work. We are fortunate to have a dedicated set of people who are willing to jump in and make this happen month after month and year after year – but we always need more volunteers! We encourage you to become active in the guild by coming to the monthly committee meeting and helping or considering one of our open positions as an officer or committee chair.
