I just learned of an ESTATE SALE of a whole lot of burls and some hand planes and perhaps a few remaining hand and power tools.
I was given the following information:
The most significant burls are maple and in log form, up to 6-feet long.
There are some burl pieces in smaller sizes, perhaps stump or cut form.
There is one cherry log about 8″ diameter and approx. 6′ long. There is also a selection of smaller pieces of a wide variety of exotic hardwoods.
SORRY – - I AM TOLD THE BEST OF THE LARGER PIECES WERE TAKEN EARLIER THIS WEEK.
